Tri-Head Security Bolts and Nuts

Triangular head security bolts, also called triangular head security screws or security recess screws, are manufactured to DIN 22424 and consist of flange headed bolts with deep triangular heads.

Providing a basic level of protection at low cost, Tri-head bolts are predominantly used with a deep recess, as the tall triangular head will protrude higher through the gap, with the matching wrench providing additional reach.

Typical applications include protection for lamppost wiring panels, prevention of access to commercial bins, waste bins in parks and other maintenance access panels.

These fixings are a low security anti tamper fixing whose primary use is to deter casual vandalism.
