Aluminium Socket Countersunk Screws are created to DIN 7991 standard and feature a hexagonal recess. They are driven using a hex wrench or insert bit, which makes them more efficient than slotted products.
The hex socket drive has a higher resistance to cam out and can be used with power drives, which enables faster use and higher achievable torque.
Countersunk screws are often used in applications that require an aesthetically pleasing finish as they sit flush in the target housing.
They are designed to be used in pre-drilled countersunk recesses. Vented and captive variants are also available.
Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M36, with lengths from 3mm upwards. UNC / UNF threads can also be supplied.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
