Clutch Head One Way Round Security Machine Screws

Clutch Head Security Screws have a unique head that requires only a standard slotted screwdriver for insertion – making this an ideal security screw for one-way permanent applications.

Although the clutch head security screws provide an excellent permanent security solution for mass usage, they can be time-consuming to install and therefore when speed is essential, we offer another one way permanent option, the ‘Sentinel Security Screw’. This utilises a modified Pozi drive allowing standard Pozi drill bits to be used for fast and high volume installation.

The design of the vandal-resistant screw is suitable for medium torque applications and hosts a special chamfer at either side of the slotted drive, enabling the screws to be turned in only one direction. If it is turned anti-clockwise, the driver simply slips out.

Most commonly found in public areas such as commercial toilet facilities, where maintenance is not required but security is essential to prevent vandals tampering. It offers a medium and permanent security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost, providing both an economic and secure balance.

Within the industry, Clutch Head security screws are also referred to by other names including Clutch Drive, One Way Screws, One Way Round Screws and Perma Screws. They can be used with Security Wave Nuts, Shear Nuts, Kinmar Reusable Nuts, Kinmar Permanent Nuts and 4-Hole Nuts for added security.

Special removal tools are available but are only recommended for use with Stainless Steel Clutch Head screws. Fastenright Ltd only supplies removal tools to account customers that have purchased the corresponding screws from our company. We will refuse to sell removal tools to non-account customers.
