Pin Hex Raised Countersunk Security Machine Screw

Tamper-resistant Pin Hex M3.5 Raised Countersunk Security Screws are designed to reduce cam-out, which can often occur in Phillips and 2-Hole drives. This reduces the chances of damaging the drive tip, screw head and also the application.

The hex drive on these screws allows for better torque compared to conventional screw heads and requires special driver bits to install and remove.

Offering medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost, they are often used for safety reasons to prevent people from hurting themselves. They are stocked in a M3.5 thread, specifically for electrical applications including access control panels, electrical sockets and light switches.

Applications include prisons, hospitals, mental health facilities and schools. However they are primarily used as protection against unauthorised access to control panels

Available in Stainless Steel from Fastenright, with lengths ranging from 12mm to 60mm.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
