Rivet Nut Split Leg Light Duty

Rivet Nut Split Leg Light Duty, or Split Body rivet nuts can be used in many different materials and are ideal for applications with thin, soft or brittle sheet material such as plastic, paperboard and GRP. They can even be used in uneven materials. When installed using the manual or pneumatic tools, the three split legs are pulled together, expanding outwards behind the surface material to provide a large clamping area and excellent resistance to pull out. Light Duty Split Leg / Split Body Rivet Nuts are available in thread sizes M4 to M8 to suit various grip ranges. The M4 has 3 split legs, while the M5, M6 and M8 diameters host 4 split legs. Available at Fastenright in Zinc Plated Steel as standard, with A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel available to order. Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
