Micro Socket Cap Screws to DIN 912 have a hexagonal recess and are driven using a hex wrench or insert bit, making installation much more efficient than slotted screws, as the hex socket drive has more resistance to cam out and can be used with power drivers, enabling faster use and higher torque to be achieved.
Socket cap screws also known as socket head cap screws or Allen bolts are a screw with a cylindrical head and hex socket drive and are a most commonly a high strength fasteners (12.9 Grade Steel) used in the most demanding applications.
Micro Socket Cap Screws to DIN 912 are available from Fastenright in Steel Grade 12.9, A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel, with other materials available on request including Brass, Aluminium and Titanium.
Available sizes range from M1.4 to M3, with larger diameters available in various materials.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
