Fine Pitch Threaded Rods Grade 8.8 (DIN 976)

Our class 8.8 Threaded Rods with fine thread pitch range from between M8*1 and M52*3. High tensile Steel fine pitch Threaded Rod is available from stock in most thread sizes in both plain Iron and Zinc Plated up to one metre length – if you require longer lengths then please give us a call.

A fine thread is stronger size for size and is relatively easy to tap into hard materials or thin walled tubes. They are also less likely to loosen after installation due to the lack of torque needed because of a smaller thread incline.

Whilst fine thread pitch Threaded Rods hold many positives, they are less suitable for high speed assembly than some of their counterparts and often need longer thread engagements. If in doubt, please contact us for advice.

Grade 8.8 fine pitch Threaded Rod is also available to order in non-standard sizes and cut lengths, with short lead times.
