Phillips Pan Thread Rolling Screws (DIN 7500)

Phillips Pan Thread Rolling Screws to DIN 7500 are designed to be driven into a pilot hole without the need for thread tapping. They are primarily used with sheet metals and other malleable materials.

These components feature a three-lobe or trilobular thread shape and a rounded pan style head for an aesthetically pleasing finish. They form their own threads in the material during installation, pushing the excess material into relief areas of the screw.

This increases vibration resistance and reduces the chance of the screw becoming loose. The use of an extruded hole may offer additional length for improved retention.

Another advantage with thread rolling screws is that they help to avoid loose chips which are often caused by other thread cutting processes.

Phillips Pan Thread Rolling Screws are typically manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated and Stainless Steel.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2.5 to M6, with lengths up to 20mm.
