Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts

Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts, sometimes referred to as Flanged Hex Nuts, combine a Hex Full Nut with an integrated non-spinning washer or flange. Exerted pressure is distributed over a larger surface area, resulting in lower surface pressure and increased resistance to shocks and vibrations.

With a chamfered design on the top of the nut, this reduces the chance of snagging once installed – typically achieved using a standard wrench or spanner. Plastic Hex Flange Nuts to DIN 6923 are also available at Fastenright.

Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts are often used with irregular shaped holes and uneven surfaces as the large diameter of the washer can help to cover up imperfections in the fastening material.

Available in thread sizes ranging from M3 to M24 as standard, with BA sizes from 6BA to 0BA also available – minimum order quantities apply.

Supplied in a White (natural) colour as standard, with other dyed colours available on request to meet your requirements.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a viable alternative to metal components that provides good tensile strength and a lower water absorption rate.
