Brass Hexagon Full Nuts, manufactured to DIN 934 standard or ISO 4032, are the most common and widely adopted form of hex nut – used in conjunction with screws, bolts, or any machine threaded fastener.
Typically referred to as Brass Hex Nuts or Fullnuts, they feature a coarse internal thread for increased resistance to cross-threading and stripping, whilst being quicker and easier to install compared to fine pitch nuts.
They can be combined with Brass Hexagon Half Nuts to create a locking effect and are often used in machinery and construction applications requiring a highly durable component. The water resistant, corrosion resistant and anti-rust characteristics make them suitable for external use.
Hosting a decorative gold-like appearance, Brass is often featured in vintage furniture and equipment due to its aesthetically pleasing finish. It also offers anti-microbial properties for situations where the spread of germs or microbes is a concern.
Brass Hexagon Full Nuts to DIN 934 are available to order in various materials such as A2 Stainless Steel, A4 Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Titanium, with a range of finishes also available on request.
Available at Fastenright in thread sizes from M2 to M39 as standard, with some BA sizes also available. Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes available to order as specials – including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
