Brass Flat Knurled Thumb Nuts (DIN 467)

Brass Flat Knurled Thumb Nuts, in accordance with DIN 467 standard, are often referred to Low Type or Thin Type Knurled Thumb Nuts. They offer a compact, low-profile design making them great for use in situations where space is restricted.

The large cylindrical head provides a wider outer diameter for better load distribution and increased grip – further improved by the knurled outside surface to enable tightening by hand, ideal for applications where frequent maintenance is required.

This component features a metric coarse thread and tapped through hole for use with any matching threaded bolt or screw. For a symmetrical fastener that can be adjusted from either side, they should be partnered with Brass Knurled Shouldered Thumb Screws or Brass Flat Knurled Thumb Screws.

Brass is suitable for use in medical environments due to its anti-bacterial properties whilst offering good levels of water and corrosion resistance for external applications. Brass Nickel Plated is also available to provide additional wear and corrosion resistance.
