Left Hand Thread Hexagon ACME Threaded Nuts are designed with a reverse thread and hexagonal shaped body for smooth and efficient operation.
Typically partnered with Left Hand ACME Threaded Rod, this component is driven in the opposite direction to standard right-hand threaded components – ideal for certain applications where a right-hand threaded part may gradually loosen over time.
The internal ACME thread features a 29° thread angle and is one of the strongest symmetrical thread profiles on the market – providing high load bearing capabilities.
They are great for high torque applications and are often used in industrial machinery such as CNC machines, vices and lathes to provide linear motion when fastened along a thread.
Left Hand Thread Hexagon ACME Threaded Nuts are manufactured from Grade 2 Steel, 360 Brass and A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with some parts available in Zinc Plated Grade 2 Steel. Other materials and finishes are available to order.
Available now with diameters from 1/4″ to 2″ as standard. Left Hand Thread ACME Connector Nuts are also available at Fastenright for combining multiple ACME threaded screws.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings – minimum order quantities apply.
