5 Lobe Pin TX Screws

5-Lobe Pin TX security screws, also known as pin TORXplus®, 5 point torx security screws or pentalobe screws. Tamper resistant, available as machine screws and self-tapping screws.

A superior version of the popular 6 lobe pin torx security screw featuring 5 lobes rather than the standard six. The tamper resistant pin within the recess provides a higher level of security resistance.

5-Lobe Pin TX torx tamper proof screws are reusable but require the use of a special insert bit to install and remove. The supply of the insert bit is restricted to maintain the security of the drive and it is very difficult to remove the fixings without one.

Standard sizes available from stock in A2 Stainless steel and A4-70 Stainless, ideal for medical and marine applications due to its anti-corrosive properties.
