6 Lobe TX Cap Thread Rolling Screws (DIN 7500)

6 Lobe TX Cap Head Thread Rolling Screws, to DIN 7500 standard, feature a hexalobular drive and three-lobe or trilobular thread shape.

This removes the need for thread tapping as the screw is designed to cut its own threads within sheet metal or other malleable materials.

During installation into a pilot hole, excess material is pushed into relief areas of the screw to provide greater retention and vibration resistance. The use of extruded hole may provide additional length and further improve retention.

Thread rolling screws typically host stronger threads which help to avoid loose chips caused by other thread cutting processes.

6 Lobe TX Socket Cap Thread Rolling Screws are manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated as standard, with Steel Black Plated available on request.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M4 to M6, with lengths up to 30mm.
