6 Lobe TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws (DIN 7985)

6 Lobe TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws, according to DIN 7985 (Form C) / ISO 14583 (Form PE) host a trilobular thread and a hexalobular drive.

Thread Rolling screws are typically used with sheet metals, but are suitable for use with other malleable materials. They are designed to be driven into a pilot hole without the need for thread tapping.

The three lobe thread design forms its own threads during installation which pushes excess material into relief areas of the screw. This increases screw retention and vibration resistance.

These components also help to avoid loose chips that are caused by other thread cutting processes.

The pan head provides an aesthetically pleasing, rounded style that complements the installation material.

6 Lobe TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws are manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated and A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with Steel Black Plated also available on request.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M8, with lengths up to 50mm.
