6 Lobe TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws with Ribs, to DIN 7500 standard, host special nibs underneath the head which generate electrical contact by penetrating the coated surface of the fastened components.
The extra grip provided by these these nibs helps to increase vibration resistance by keeping the head locked in place. They are often found in electrical products such as light fixings due to their electrical grounding capabilities.
Thread Rolling screws are designed to be driven into a pilot hole without the need for thread tapping as a separate process. Typically used in sheet metals, these components feature a trilobular or three-lobe thread design.
They form their own threads during installation which pushes excess material into the relief areas of the screw. Thread Rolling screws also help to avoid loose chips that are often caused by other thread cutting processes.
6 Lobe TX Pan Thread Rolling screws with Ribs feature a rounded pan style head for an aesthetically pleasing finish.
