Aluminium Hexagon Head Set Screws are created to DIN 933 and are known for their strength, as well as their large bearing surface area – which provides improved clamping pressure compared to the likes of socket head cap screws. This makes these fasteners ideal for applications involving dirt or debris build-up, as they do not have a socket to clog.
Aluminium is resistant in temperatures up to 150°C and hosts both strong yield and tensile strength. It is also an exceptionally popular material choice in applications where weight restrictions are an issue, such as the automotive industry, where weight reductions are necessary to reduce overall weight.
Aesthetically pleasing, Aluminium Hexagon Head Screws are also resistant to corrosion and non-ferrous.
Available as Fastenright in thread sizes M5 to M16 as standard, with lengths up to 70mm.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
