Brass Hexagon Male to Female Spacers, often called Hex Threaded Standoffs, are designed to create space between two threaded parts. This type features both a male and female thread, where the male portion can be fastened into a hole whist also having a screw fastened into it.
The hexagonal body enables quick and easy installation of the male section using a standard hex wrench. Brass Hexagon Female to Female Spacers are also available at Fastenright for the connection of two male components.
Widely utilised within electronic applications such as PCB standoffs, where they are positioned between the PCB and case (or second PCB) to produce a gap that enables airflow between internal components.
These Brass Hexagon Male to Female Spacers or Standoffs are typically finished with a Nickel Plate – providing increased corrosion resistance and a decorative silver appearance for applications that require an aesthetic touch.
Available in thread sizes from M2 to M6 as standard, with lengths ranging from 5mm to 80mm. Minimum order quantities apply.
