Brass Slotted Cheese Head Screws (DIN 84)

Brass Slotted Cheese Head Machine Screws are manufactured to DIN 84 standard or ISO 1207 and are often favoured for use in domestic appliances and many automotive applications.

Comparable to Brass Slotted Pan Head Screws to DIN 85, they host a single slot drive and cylindrical head shape, with these featuring a flat top and deeper drive socket to enable higher torque levels. The head height is approximately half the head diameter, ideal in situations where extra head strength is required.

Fastened using a standard flat blade screwdriver as opposed to a power driver to prevent over-tightening, which can result in cam-out and cause damage to the fastening material.

Brass is highly durable and is well known for its rust-proof, water resistant and corrosion resistant properties – making it a great choice for both internal and external use. The gold-like, decorative finish makes these Brass Slotted Cheese Head Screws to DIN 84 perfect for vintage mechanical and engineering applications where the screws are visible once installed.

Finishes such as Brass Nickel Plated are available on request. This has a silver-like appearance, providing additional corrosion and wear resistance.

Optional thread locking patches can be supplied on request.
