Button Flange O-Ring Seal Screws are designed to prevent matter such as air, water, and other contaminants from entering or exiting an application. This is achieved using an “O” ring which is positioned within a groove on the underside of the head.
During installation, the O-ring is compressed against the mating surface while maintaining metal-to-metal contact for a secure and reliable seal.
The O-ring can be supplied in various materials to meet the requirements of the application. This includes Silicone rubber, Nitrile rubber (Buna-N), EPDM, Viton, Fluorosilicone, and many more.
These components offer a high performance sealing solution with full 360° protection against the elements. Ready to use out of the box, they are often found in the aerospace, medical and food industries, as well as applications with high sealing requirements.
Socket Button Flange O-Ring Seal Screws and 6 Lobe Torx (TX) Button Flange O-Ring Seal Screws conform to ISO 7380-2 and are typically manufactured from A2 / 304 Stainless Steel and A4 / 316 Stainless Steel as standard.
Optional thread locking patches can be provided to increase vibration resistance and preserve the life of the O-ring.
