Circlips basic type available from Fastenright in a range of designs, internal and external, from basic to heavy-duty.
Basic circlips come in internal and external styles, with the former used for housing bores. Internal Basic Circlips host a tapered design that permits rings to maintain a constant and consistent circularity and pressure against the bottom of its groove. The external version, used in shafts, features a tapered design for similar reasoning to the internal version.
Heavy Duty Circlips are usually for external use in shafts, where the heavy-duty ring is resistant to high trust and impact loads, providing greater-load supporting.
There are two types of Inverted Circlips, for internal and external use. The internal is used in housing bores and provide uniform protruding shoulders whilst maintaining their constant circularity, whilst the external are for shafts.
There are also Miniature High-Strength Circlips for use in small shafts, which host a tamper-proof shoulder – subject to heavy thrusts and impact loads.
