Our Grade 4.8 Threaded Rods with fine thread pitch are available from M36*3 and above.
We are generally able to fully stock these fine thread pitch Threaded Bars in Steel Self Colour at lengths of one metre, two metre and three metre. If you are looking for these threaded bars but with a Zinc Plating, we can offer this also – however you may have to call us to discuss your needs or requirement.
Size for size, a fine thread is stronger and can be easily tapped into hard materials and thin walled tubes. They also have less tendency to loosen due to the requirement of less torque as the thread incline is smaller.
However, there are negatives to a fine thread pitch as they are less suitable for high speed assembly and need longer thread engagements.
