Hex Full Nuts with O-Ring Seal are specifically designed to prevent matter from entering or escaping an application. This is achieved using an “O” ring that is positioned on one side of the nut.
The O-ring is situated within a groove, which during installation, compresses against the mating surface while preserving metal-to-metal contact. This ensures 360° sealing protection against contaminants such as air, water, and other elements.
These components typically conform to DIN 934 / ISO 4032 / ASME B18.6.3 and are intended for applications with strict sealing requirements. They are often found in high pressure and contaminant-free environments – widely used in the aerospace, food and medical sectors.
Hex Full Nuts with O-Ring Seal arrive pre-assembled and ready to use – only requiring a standard spanner, wrench or hex socket for installation.
The O-ring can be supplied in a range of materials to best suit the intended application or assembly. This includes Silicone rubber, Nitrile rubber (Buna-N), Fluorosilicone, EPDM, Viton, and many more.
They are typically manufactured from Steel, A2 / 304 Stainless Steel and A4 / 316 Stainless Steel as standard. Fine pitch and left hand thread variants can also be supplied.
Hex Full Nuts with O-Ring Seal are tailor made to meet your requirements – manufactured to order in an extensive range of sizes, materials and finishes. Minimum order quantities apply.
