Hexagon ACME Threaded Nuts feature a hexagonal body with internal ACME thread that provides high strength and the ability to support heavy work loads.
Their primary purpose is to transform rotary motion into linear motion when used alongside matching ACME Threaded Rod – typically as part of industrial machinery or applications that require high adjustment accuracy.
With a 29° thread angle, the ACME thread form is suitable for high torque applications or those that need to generate power through motion. Hexagon ACME Threaded Coupling Nuts are also available at Fastenright, as well as Left Hand Thread variants.
Manufactured from Grade 2 Steel, 360 Brass and A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with some parts available in Zinc Plated Grade 2 Steel. Other materials and finishes are available to order.
Hexagon ACME Threaded Nuts are available now at Fastenright with threads from 1/4″ to 2 1/2″ as standard.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings – minimum order quantities apply.
