Left-Hand Thread Hexagon Trapezium Threaded Nuts (DIN 103)

These Left Hand Thread Hexagon Trapezium Threaded Nuts, or Left Hand Hexagonal Trapezoidal Nuts, are manufactured to DIN 103 standard featuring a hex shaped body and reverse internal thread.

This reverse thread is designed for use with Left Hand Trapezoidal Threaded Rod and allows the nuts to be driven in the opposite direction. Some applications may also benefit from restricted compatibility with right-hand threaded components.

The trapezoidal thread takes the form of an isosceles trapezium, hosting high strength and a 30° thread angle. This provides great load bearing capabilities for heavy work loads and enables use in high torque applications.

Predominantly found as part of industrial assemblies where linear motion is relied upon to ensure smooth and precise operation e.g. lathes and CNC machines.

Hexagon Trapezium Threaded Nuts with Left Hand Thread (DIN 103) are available with thread sizes from 12mm (TR12x3) to 55mm (TR55x9). Left Hand Round Trapezoidal Threaded Nuts are also available at Fastenright.

Manufactured from Steel and A1 (303) Stainless Steel as standard, with other materials and finishes available to order.

Note: TR12x3 indicates a thread diameter of 12mm and a pitch of 3mm.
