Left-Hand Thread Round Trapezium Threaded Nuts (DIN 103)

Left Hand Thread Round Trapezium Threaded Nuts, in accordance with DIN 103 standard, are typically referred to as Left Hand Cylindrical Trapezoidal Nuts. This component hosts an internal trapezoidal thread form and a 30° thread angle.

With a circular body and smooth exterior, they are used alongside Left Hand Thread Trapezoidal Threaded Rod to create a fastener that provides linear actuation – great for industrial machinery such as vices, lathes and alike.

The high strength of the thread provides support for heavy loads and enables use within applications that require high torque to be achieved.

Left-hand threaded nuts are designed to be driven in the opposite direction to right-hand threaded nuts. They also prevent compatibility with right-hand threaded parts, often for safety purposes.

Typically manufactured from Steel, A1 Stainless Steel and Bronze as standard. Other materials and finishes are available to order.
