Rivet Nut Reduced Countersunk Knurled Open End

Rivet Nut Reduced Countersunk Knurled Open End fasteners, which host a knurled body and an open end, are used to create a strong thread in sheets of material for high strength fastening from bolts and other threaded articles.

The reduced countersunk head allows this type of rivet nut to be used in applications without any extra hole preparation, providing a low profile flush fit.

With a knurled body, the reduced countersunk rivet nut provides increased resistance to turning within the application, especially when installed in softer materials.

The open end allows the stud or male threaded component to be used in applications without any extra hole preparation, providing a low profile flush fit to the application.

They are installed using a special tool with a threaded nose that engages with the internal threads of the rivet nut, pulling upwards and deforming the unthreaded section of the nut to provide a high strength, permanent thread in thin sheet materials.

Reduced Countersunk Knurled Body Open End Rivet Nuts are manufactured from Zinc Plated Steel, A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel as standard.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes from M3 to M12 as standard.
