Round Head O-Ring Seal Screws feature a unique integrated seal, or “O” ring, which fits into a groove on the underside of the head – designed to prevent contaminants such as air, moisture and dirt from entering or escaping an application.
Seal screws offer a 360° sealing solution whilst maintaining metal to metal contact to ensure maximum grip. They arrive pre-assembled and ready to use out of the box – available with a deep slotted drive, typically in accordance with ASME B18.6.3, for easy installation using a standard flat blade screwdriver.
Made from Silicone rubber as standard, the O-ring can be supplied in an extensive range of materials such as Nitrile rubber (Buna-N), EPDM, Fluorosilicone, Viton, and many more. This enables use within some of the most challenging conditions and environments.
O-Ring Seal Screws are widely utilised across a range of industries that require a cost-effective sealing fastener – often found in electronic devices, food processing equipment, consumer products, and other applications with stringent sealing requirements.
Optional thread locking patches are also available on request. These are applied to increase vibration resistance and prolong the service life of the O-ring.
