The Slotted Round Nut is used across a number of applications including electrical engineering.
They can be tightened by means of a slotted screwdriver and are intended to be used for locking components where no specific pre-stressing forces are required.
Slotted round nuts are generally made from steel, stainless steel or other non-ferrous metals. Non-ferrous metals do not contain iron and are not magnetic. They are also generally more resistant to corrosion.
These nuts, created to DIN 546 standard, are available from stock in sizes M1.4 to M16 as standard – with special materials upon request.
