Security Pin Button Head Tricle Captive Screws

Security Pin Button Head Tricle Captive Screws are typically used in high-security applications as an anti-vandalism or anti-theft fastener – featuring a reduced shank below the head.

These components are recommended for use alongside Threaded Captive Washers for increased protection. Once installed, the screw cannot be fully removed from its housing for a self-retaining fastener.

Pin Button Tricle Captive screws feature a pin drive with a rounded, three-prong shape, requiring a special Tricle Security Insert Bit for installation and removal.

All captive screws conform to the EU Machine Safety Directive 2006 – often used for safety guards, captive panels, and applications where the loss of fasteners must be avoided.

Available at Fastenright in thread diameters M3 to M8, with lengths from 12mm to 50mm. Available as Tricle ‘Type A’ and Tricle ‘Type B’ from Fastenright.
