Security Pin TX Button Flange Captive Screws

Security Pin TX Button Flange Captive screws combine the unique design of a captive screw with a tamper-proof Pin Torx drive for increased protection against vandals and thieves.

The rounded button head features an integrated flange washer with a larger surface area for greater load distribution.

Security Pin TX Button Flange Captive screws are typically used alongside Threaded Captive Washers to create a self-retaining fastener. They feature an unthreaded portion below the head which hosts a reduced core diameter. Once installed, they cannot be fully removed from their housing.

The Security Torx drive requires a Pin TX wrench or insert bit for installation, offering medium security at a relatively low cost.

Manufactured from A2 / 304 Stainless Steel and A4 / 316 Stainless Steel as standard, with Steel and Steel Zinc Plated available on request.

Available to order at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M12, with lengths from 8mm to 120mm. Thread locking patches can also be supplied for additional vibration resistance.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
