Slotted Raised Countersunk Barrel Nuts

Barrel nuts featuring a raised countersunk head, similar to the style usually found in light switches and plug sockets, with a slotted drive. It can be fastened with a standard flat blade screwdriver.

Also known as sleeve nuts, they are used with screws of the same thread diameter, to clamp two or more pieces of material together.

• Countersunk to allow for a high strength fixing.
• Male screw fastens into internally threaded female barrel nut (sex bolt). Standard slotted drive.
• 90 degree countersunk head with closed end.
• Ideal for use in architectural applications.

The head diameters for these slotted raised countersunk barrel nuts differ slightly to DIN 964 raised countersunk screws.

Available from Fastenright as standard in A1 / 303 Stainless steel, a material which is specifically designed for machining, as well as A4 / 316 Stainless Steel for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance in environments exposed to saltwater. Certain sizes are available in A2 / 304 Stainless Steel.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
