Wood-to-Metal Dowels, often referred to as Hanger Bolts, are primarily designed to hang material from wooden structures – featuring a machine thread on one side of the fastener and a wood screw thread on the other.
Once installed into wood, the suspended material is secured in place with a nut. Hanger Bolts are often used to suspend electrical wiring and sheet metal, while being found in the timber and furniture industry.
They typically host a round, unthreaded shank between both threads – installed into a pilot hole using a special driver bit or by threading two hex nuts onto the machine threaded portion and tightening the outer nut with a hex wrench.

Manufactured from Zinc Plated Steel, A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel as standard.
