Security Anchors

Security anchors, suitable for use in the construction industry. Moderate and high security options are available from stock, with specials made to order.

Security anchors (also referred to as construction anchors or expansion anchors) can be used in high torque applications, where they are placed into predrilled holes in concrete, brick or other materials, to fix an application to a surface that has no thread to engage. As the head of the anchor is tightened, the “sleeve” is pushed outwards pushing against the wall of the drilled hole ensuring that it cannot be pulled out.

Installation

Most security anchor bolts (expansion bolts) require a special security driver to install, however we also offer a drill out anchor that is fastened with a standard hex drive.
Both permanent and reusable options are available, depending on whether your application will require future maintenance, in which case the anchor may need to be removed by authorised personnel in the future, using a security tool.
