6 Lobe Pin TX Self Drilling Security Screws use a solid dowel in the drive, making them tamper-resistant against potential vandalism or theft. The design of this screw makes it suitable for medium torque applications.

Hosting a button head, this reusable security fixing can be removed using a special driver which allows for regular maintenance to be carried out.

The drive provides reduced cam-out compared to other drives like Phillips or 2-Hole, and therefore less risk of damage to the drive tip, screw head or application – making it more cost-effective to install and remove.

6-Lobe Pin TX Self Drill Security Screws require a special driver to install and remove, creating a medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost.

Optional sealing washers are available to accompany these security screws for use within construction and similar applications.

These self drill screws can be used alongside Pin TX Barrel Nuts, Security Wave Nuts, Shear nuts, Kinmar Resable Nuts, Kinmar Permanent Nuts, 4-Hole Nuts and more for increased security. They can often referred to as Star Pin Drive Screws, Tamper Torx®, Torx® Pin, Resistorx® and 6 Lobe Pin.

Available in a Steel Zinc plated finish from Fastenright. Sizes from No.8 to No.14 and lengths ranging from 1/2″ to 2″.
