6 Lobe Pin TX Pan Thread Forming Screws Type B, are designed for use in Plastics but can be used with some metals. The Type B point provides a larger root diameter with finer thread pitch, making them suitable for use in heavier materials.

These Thread Forming Screws are a reusable 2 way security fixing, making them ideal if maintenance is required. They also require a pre-drilled or moulded hole for installation.

They host a vandal-resistant 6 Lobe Pin drive that requires a special screw driver, tool bit or key wrench to install. This ensures medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost.

Type B 6 Lobe Pin TX Pan Thread Forming Screws offer reduced cam-out or slippage compared to the other common drives such as Phillips or 2-Hole. This reduces the risk of damage to the drive tip, screw head or application.

They can also be referred to by other names including ‘Star Pin Drive’, ‘Tamper Torx®’, ‘Torx® Pin’ and ‘Resistorx®’, and can be used alongside a range of nuts for increased security.

Manufactured as standard in Zinc Steel plated, available with diameters from M2 to M4 and lengths from 4mm to 12mm.

Non-standard sizes and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
