Pin Hex Button Security Shield Anchors feature a pin within the socket that prevents removal with a standard driver bit, reducing the risk of unauthorised tampering, with the drive also making it ideal for use in higher torque applications.
They are an ideal, medium-security anchor for the construction industry, which can be re-used for maintenance purposes.
Installation requires a simple pre-drilling of concrete and inserting of the anchor shield. The fixture is then placed and the bolt is tightened using a security drill bit – leaving a secure fixing that can be removed by authorised personnel when maintenance is required.
With a button head, heavy-duty shield anchor and a grade 10.9 Steel pin hex drive, these fasteners resist tampering by conventional driver bits and Allen keys.
Available as standard in M8 and M10 from Fastenright.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
