Countersunk Pin Hex Self Tapping Security Screws offer a medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost.
Tamper-resistant, they require special driver bits or keys to fix or remove, making them an ideal fastener choice for applications where the fixing may need to be removed for maintenance.
They are designed to reduce cam-out, which often occurs in Phillips and 2-Hole Drives, and provide better torque compared to more conventional screw heads. This reduces the risk of damaging the drive tip, screw head, or application.
Their countersunk head allows the screw to sit flush in their housing hole, providing an aesthetically pleasing finish.
Otherwise referred to as Hex Pin, Tamper Pin Hex or Socket Screw with Pin, these fasteners are available in both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel from Fastenright.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
