Waspaloy Screws, Fasteners and Fixings
Waspaloy is a superalloy, hardened by age, known for its superb high strength at elevated temperatures.
It is a high-performance nickel, cobalt, chrome and molybdenum alloy which help provide its unique stability in higher temperatures and it’s general strength.
In fasteners, Waspaloy vastly exceeds the strength of some types of Inconel at temperatures beyond 760°C It is also resistant to oxidising, which makes it a perfect fastener in applications like gas turbine engines and other aerospace components.
The age hardening and solution annealed processes of Waspaloy are what provide it with its properties.
